How to check the results’ accuracy if I set a task for a mobile device?
You can check the results of the task you have set for a mobile device using the Inspect option of your Chrome browser.
- Simply right-click on the SERP when the page is loaded, choose “Inspect” or press Command+Option+C (Mac) or Control+Shift+C (Windows, Linux, Chrome OS).
- Navigate to the “Toggle device toolbar” option or press Command/Control+Shift+M to choose a mobile device.
- Reload the page to view results as they appear on the mobile version of Google Search.
Note that user preferences, search history, and other personalized search factors are ignored by our system and thus would not be reflected in the returned SERP results.
What if I see a bit different SERP results in the Incognito?
SERP layout changes quickly, especially for queries with commercial intent that may trigger ads, shopping cards, and other sponsored SERP elements. In such cases, the results our SERP API delivered may be slightly different from what you see in the Incognito window of your browser. Yet, it does not mean we provided you with the wrong data.
To see the exact results our crawler found when visiting SERP, you can request HTML data of the necessary task by calling an endpoint as in the example below:

Once you get the response, you will find the “html” string containing the HTML of the SERP page. You should copy the data from the string and save it into a text file with the .html extension. Then, you can open the file in the browser window and see what the SERP layout looked like when our crawler accessed the page.
