Commercial units
Commercial units feature on Google SERP is a unique type of advertising content for travel and tourist attractions. It is usually triggered by search queries that start with “things to do in…” and contain a name of a city. Commercial units or “things to do” advertising units are displayed both on mobile and desktop devices in the form of a carousel, and ads of the SERP element offer information on tickets and tours available (and advertised) in the city the query mentions. Commercial units combine visual and text content, displaying images related to the advertised experience, ad publisher’s business name, attraction’s price, and rating.
