Product Consideration
Product Consideration in DataForSEO SERP API is an element that represents two Google SERP features with identical structure in Google Search – Buying Guide and Things to Know.
Both of them are triggered by broad unrefined searches and provide details on the searched topic structured by categories. Clicking upon each category will open a snippet with relevant information and a suggested search refined by the opened category.
Currently, Buying Guide appears in mobile results only while Things to Know can be found both in desktop and mobile results. Yet, they never appear in the same SERP.
In SERP API responses, you can differentiate Buying Guide and Things to Know by the relevant “title” of the Product Consideration element.
Each drop-down card from the Product Consideration feature is returned as a structured “product_considerations_element”, with expandable answers returned as “product_considerations_expanded_element”.
