How do I get Amazon reviews?

In addition to being the largest e-commerce platform, Amazon is also a place where buyers share their opinions on the products they purchase. It makes the marketplace a great source of feedback data that can be used in various ways: from developing a review management tool to training an NLP model.
Now you can finally access this data!
We’re glad to announce that we have enriched our Merchant API with the Amazon Reviews endpoints, enabling you to collect customer feedback on any product stored on Amazon.
Collect Amazon reviews with ease
1 Call the Amazon Reviews Task POST endpoint.
POST https://api.dataforseo.com/v3/merchant/amazon/reviews/task_post
2 Specify the ASIN of a product you want to get reviews for in the asin field. In case you don’t know what ASIN is and where to find it, check this help center article.
3 Specify the location parameters by adding the location_name, location_coordinate or location_code field to the POST body.
You will receive the full list of available locations by making a separate request to the Locations endpoint.

4 Specify the language parameters by adding the language_name or language_code field to the POST body.
You will receive the full list of available languages by making a separate request to the Languages endpoint.
GET https://api.dataforseo.com/v3/merchant/amazon/languages
5 Specify the number of reviews to be returned in the API response. To do that, add the depth parameter and set it to the desired value.
We strongly recommend setting the parsing depth in the multiples of ten as our system processes ten reviews in a row. In other words, you will be charged for every 10 reviews returned. Thus, if you specify depth as 11 you will be charged for 20 reviews.
Default depth value: 10.

"review_text": "I have a GTX 1060 laptop, set up is easy and there was no need for me to calibrate anything, I even dare say this monitor looks better than my own laptop screen at 1080p.\nAt first i thought it didn not support 75Hz and the colors were washed out and it was too bright, also on the nvidia panel it said 1080p at 60Hz however this is what you gotta do to fix it.\n\"CALIBRATION\"\n1. Connect via HDMI\n2. Open Display settings and make sure that they are set so that only the 2nd display is turned on, do not put duplicate or extend.\n3. Open Nvidia control panel and go to \"Change Resolution\"\n4. You will see two lists, one will say HD, UHD etc, the other one at the bottom will say \"PC\", (changing the first list will project your laptop screen to the second screen however your laptop is 60Hz and the monitor is 75Hz that is why its limited to 60Hz and colors are washed out, changing the second list will basically use your laptop to power up the monitor at full 75Hz 1080p with the right color calibration.)\n5. On list two \"PC\" change the resolution to 1080p and 75Hz\nAnd there you go, now you can use your 75Hz monitor for gaming, make sure to change the settings indvidually in games to 75Hz or they will still run at 60Hz and the colors will be washed out.\nNow onto the review\n*** REVIEW ***\nThe screen resolution is full 1920x1080p at 75Hz, the colors are very accurate, it looks no where near like a TN panel, I would say its in between a TN panel and an IPS panel but closer to IPS.\nIt comes with speakers which are ok for the price but I recommend headphones or your own speakers which are probably better if you got this for gaming.\nThis is what comes in the package\n- Monitor\n- 4 screws for mounting\n- Two screws for setting up the monitor (non adjustable height(\n- HDMI to VGA cable\n- VGA to VGA cable\nI really recommend this monitor even if not for gaming, its a great price for what you get and it even comes with two cables.\nHowever one thing to note is that the difference between 60Hz and 75Hz is hard to notice in games. Playing Witcher 3 and Rise of Tomb Raider at locked in 75FPS wasn't anything much more amazing than 60FPS. However it is still an improvement.\nOne last thing to confider if you’re debating on a 75Hz vs 144Hz monitor\n- If you have a graphics card such as the GTX 770,970,1060 Most games (witcher, call of duty, battlefield wont go back 80 fps on ultra / high graphics) so you wont be able to take advantage of a 144Hz monitor, so I suggest this one. UNLESS you play on medium/low settings.\n- If you have a graphics card such as a GTX 770,780,980,1070 and above, I suggest the 144Hz monitor since these can run most tiles at well above 100FPS so you can take advantage of the monitor.\n*** UPDATE ***\nEarlier on the review I said the difference between 60Hz and 75Hz was negligible, I take it back.\nI played on my laptop which is limited to 60Hz and it feels bad and slugish compared to 75Hz, once you go higher refresh rate you can never go back\nIts one of those things you dont realise until its taken away, great improvement.",

"review_text": "The monitor is great for pc and console gaming. My PC pc is able to take advantage of the 75hz refresh rate, the auto power on and auto source switching is convenient. The audio out port also saves me a lot of effort with my setup. Where this device looses stars is the defects. There is an over brighten set of pixels, fortunately they are only visible on all white screens. There is also this mark that looks as though there is a piece of plastic on the screen. I am not some professional gamer or content creater so I don't want to go through the hassell or requesting a new one. Im still going to use it and appreciate the good things about it. 5 stars if it did not have these scars.",

"review_text": "Needed two new monitors for a new PC in the office. Went with this because it was the best value in terms of size vs price. I'd also purchased these for clients in the past and heard they were happy with them. After seeing the complaints about the colors being washed out, I gave my monitors away and decided if there were any problems with these I'd either live with it or fix it.\nOut of the box the monitors were fine. The only complaint I can come up with is that the VESA mounts are lower on the back due to the slim design. After looking at settings, I determined that for me as an IT manager I didn't need to recalibrate the screens at all. Granted, I spend most of my time looking at text documents, configuration pages for network equipment, and the accounting software my company uses. I couldn't speak to color calibration for individuals doing video or photo production.\nOne thought on the others experiencing washed out colors - HDMI out on a computer kind of expects a TV. Televisions and Monitors will sometimes have different ranges for black levels, which can cause the screen to look washed out. If you're experiencing this, check the control panel for your graphics driver. You should be able to adjust black levels and fix the issue. This has been a driving factor in my preference for just about anything over HDMI. (Display Port is king, for what it's worth.)",

"review_text": "If you are rating this like you ordered a $500 top of the line gaming monitor, then it's YOU that has issues, not the product. For under $120 this monitor well surpassed my expectations initially, as for longevity, we'll see. Great picture quality, thin appearance, and pretty small bezels. Came with HDMI cord (wasn't expecting that) and spacers for wall mounts/other mounting kits. Usable UI for adjustments if that's your thing. I honestly just set it up, plugged it in and bobs you're uncle. Again, it was only $104 when I ordered it, so this review is based on that. What else can be said? 24 inches is 24 inches, 75 hertz is 75 hertz, colors are colored and cords do cord things! For the price, it's definitely recommended and expectations where exceeded. Don't buy a monitor under $120 and try to review it like a $500 god-like gaming accessory.\nSo to recap, the monitor monitors, cords cord, and the stand stands. Cough into you elbow, stop driving 100mph and don't go to Walmart just to browse the electronics during a pandemic.\nUpdate- Jan 2021-\nturns out that you shouldn't sit near anything valuable while in vr. Still worked great even after I had smacked/punched it accidentally in vr......well at least the first 8 or 9 times anyway. The last hit did it in for good unfortunately but clearly not at all any fault of the brand. So, don't tell yourself you'll not do something again(sit to close to the monitor) but then repeatedly do it again and again expecting a different outcome. "review_text": "Just got two of these bad boys. pulled them out of the box added the thread extenders put them on my monitor tree. Set up was easy, resolution is perfect for my needs (Business). Did some initial setup with adjusting the view area of the screen but the auto adjustment made that very simple. I use the VGA connections so can't speak to the HDMI but for the Price these are amazing. One thing that I will mention is that they use a proprietary Power cord but that is more just for information it has a very large plug so you will need to account for that when planning your Power set up.",

The new one they sent me has 3 really apparent bright spots and 5 that the average user might not immediately notice. I work in the laptop refurb business and look at screen regularly to asses their value. Based on the standards we use these screens are the lowest level you can rate.",

The Amazon Reviews endpoints support various filtering and sorting parameters that you can set to receive more specific results.
1 First, you can sort reviews by recency or helpfulness with the sort_by parameter.
If you use the "sort_by": "helpful" parameter, the API will first provide the most helpful reviews, i.e., the reviews that received the most “helpful votes” from Amazon users. They’re called “Top Reviews” on Amazon.
If you use the "sort_by": "recent" parameter, the API will first provide the most recent reviews.

2 You can also filter the results by reviewer type with the reviewer_type parameter.
Use "reviewer_type": "all_reviews" to receive reviews from all reviewers.
Use "reviewer_type": "avp_only_reviews" to receive reviews with the “Verified Purchase” mark only.

3 Another way to filter reviews is by stars. You can do it with the filter_by_star parameter.
• "filter_by_star": "all_stars" — return reviews with any number of stars;
• "filter_by_star": "five_star" — return five-star reviews only;
• "filter_by_star": "four_star"— return four-star reviews only;
• "filter_by_star": "three_star" — return three-star reviews only;
• "filter_by_star": "two_star" — return two-star reviews only;
• "filter_by_star": "one_star" — return one-star reviews only;
• "filter_by_star": "positive" — return positive reviews only;
• "filter_by_star": "critical" — return critical reviews only.

4 You can collect reviews about a specific product modification by specifying the format_type filter.
Use "format_type": "all_format" to receive reviews for all possible product modifications.
Use "format_type": "current_format" to receive reviews for the current product modification only.
Note that ASINs vary depending on a product modification. Thus, two modifications of the same product will have two different ASINs. Make sure to specify the right ASIN when setting a task with the current_format parameter.

5 And last, you can filter results by media type with the media_type filter.
Use "media_type": "all_contents" to receive text, image, and video reviews.
Use "media_type": "media_reviews_only" to receive image and video reviews only.
