First of all, we offer a free unlimited trial to let you try out our APIs and evaluate the efficiency of our service. To get a free trial, you should simply create an account with DataForSEO.

Once you are logged into the DataForSEO Dashboard you’ll see your API credentials for making calls from your API testing platform. Alternatively, you can use our built-in API Explorer which allows you to make actual API calls and obtain real JSON data through a graphic user interface.

Note that upon registration you’ll receive a trial $1 account balance free of charge. You can use this balance to make API calls for an unlimited period of time. However, this amount will be sufficient to make a limited number of API requests.

$1 will be enough to get, for example:

• 833 SERPs with high-priority tasks
• 20,000 backlinks with Rank values and other data
• 20,000 keywords with Google Ads metrics

Note that there is no need to create another trial account to make more test APIs calls. This will be considered a violation of DataForSEO Terms of Service, and such an account will be suspended.
