1 Google Search Lite retrieves mostly organic results without additional features. However, the following item types may occasionally appear in the responses:

“paid”, “local_services”, “commercial_units”, “people_also_search”, “images”, “shopping”, “popular_products”, “local_pack”, and “hotels_pack”.

Google Organic SERP API, on the other hand, returns all available SERP features, including AI Overviews, discussions and forums, events, questions and answers, etc.

2 The default depth parameter value in Google Search Lite is set to 100, rather than 10 in Google Organic. You can increase the parsing depth up to 700 to get more results, but you’ll be additionally charged for every 100 results.

3 Google Search Lite doesn’t support certain resource-heavy parameters to optimize its efficiency. Specifically, the group_organic_results, people_also_ask_click_depth, load_async_ai_overview, and expand_ai_overview parameters are not available in Lite.

4 The pricing for Google Search Lite and Google Organic also differs significantly. For example, using Google Lite in Standard mode, you will pay only $0,0006 to get 100 results.

To retrieve 100 results with Google Organic, you need to apply the depth: 100 parameter, which results in a higher price. That’s because our system needs to process the first resource-intensive SERP (10 results) and retrieve the remaining 90 results separately. Thus, you’ll pay $0,0006 for the first SERP page and $0,00045 for the remaining 90 results ($0,00105 total).

As you can see, with Google Search Lite for $0,0006, you’ll receive the top 100 search results in an instant, whereas with Google Organic, you’ll fetch only the first SERP page.
