We have released the Keyword Difficulty endpoint in DataFor SEO Labs API!
Keyword Difficulty will help you estimate the difficulty to rank in the top-10 organic results for a specific keyword. The score ranges from 0 (easy) to 100 (extremely hard).
Use the Bulk Keyword Difficulty endpoint to obtain Keyword Difficulty for up to 1,000 keywords in one request.
In case you need to get this metric along with search volume, CPC, and other data, use one of the following DataForSEO Labs API endpoints:
- Related Keywords
- Keyword Suggestions
- Ranked Keywords
- Keyword Ideas
- Keywords For Categories
- Domain Intersection
- Page Intersection
- Top Google Searches
In API responses, Keyword Difficulty appears within the serp_info object. To receive it, you should set the include_serp_info parameter to true when setting a task. You can also filter and sort the results by Keyword Difficulty.
Since Keyword Difficulty calculation requires SERP data, this metric is only available for keywords included in our SERP database.
