Today, we’re happy to present a new product – Domain Analytics API.
It encompasses the endpoints of Domain Technologies API and Whois API.
Domain Technologies API is a technology lookup API that provides flexible access to technographic data. In particular, you can obtain the following:
• Domain Technologies – a list of technologies used by a particular domain.
• Domains by Technology – domains based on the technology they use.
• Aggregation Technologies – technologies used alongside the ones you specify.
• Technologies Summary – number of domains across different countries and languages that use the specified technologies.
You can use Domain Technologies API to empower your website or software with technology lookups or to compile a list of websites that use a certain technology, such as a particular CMS. Learn more about technographic data and API use cases in our new blog post.
Domain Analytics Whois API offers Whois data enriched with backlink stats and ranking and traffic info from organic and paid search results.
Earlier, you could’ve seen the Whois Overview endpoint in DataForSEO Labs API. Now, we’re simply moving these products to a more suitable house, that is, we’re grouping them according to their main use case – domain analysis.
Note: If you’ve been using DataForSEO Labs – Whois Overview, with this restructuring, nothing changes for you. We will keep supporting and updating the previous versions of these endpoints. Check your email for more information.
