Dear customers,
Please rest assured that our SERP API remains fully operational, and we will continue providing the quality and accuracy you rely on.
We are committed to keeping our service transparent and reliable. At the same time, we have to align with the realities of search.
Unfortunately, our earlier price basis (fixed per 100 results for most search engines) no longer matches the effort and resources required to deliver accurate data. A typical search results page now displays fewer results than it did in the past. So, we are forced to introduce pricing changes to the Organic SERP API search engine types, effective September 19, 2025 (10:00 UTC).
What’s changing on September 19, 2025 (10:00 UTC)
➤ The number of results – depth
– covered by the base price of Organic SERP APIs changes to 10 (first page)*
➤ Additional pages in the same task are 25% off:
each next page = 0.75 × base price
.
➤ The calculate_rectangles
parameter (where applicable) now adds only one base price (instead of two) to the total task cost.
These changes apply to the Organic SERP API type of the following search engines: Google, Bing, Yahoo, Baidu, Seznam, Naver.
* Please note that the default depth
for Naver changes to 15
.
New pricing details
Starting on September 19, 2025 (10:00 UTC), the price will be based on the number of pages you collect.
The default number of results per page – depth
– will be updated to 10
for all search engines of Organic Search type (se_type
), except Naver with default "depth": 15
.
The base price stays the same but covers the first page (10 results, or 15 for Naver):
- $0.002 for Live method
- $0.0006 for Normal priority
- $0.0012 for High priority
For any additional pages retrieved with the same task, you get 25% off the base price:
- $0.0015 for the Live method
- $0.00045 for Normal priority
- $0.0009 for High priority
Example cost calculation for Normal priority (10 pages, 100 results)
First page: $0.0006 Next pages (2nd–10th): 9 × (0.75 × $0.0006) = $0.00405 Total: $0.0006 + $0.00405 = $0.00465
The general calculation formula is as follows:
$0.0006 (base price, 1st page) + 0.75 (25% discount) Ñ… $0.0006 (base price) Ñ… 9 (# of additional pages) = $0.00465
Note that the calculate_rectangles
parameter (where applicable) adds only one base price (not two as earlier) to the total task cost.
What you need to do now
Use either max_crawl_pages
or depth
parameter to control the number of pages you collect. For example, to obtain 100 Google Organic search results (10 pages) for a single task, set "max_crawl_pages": 10
or "depth":100
.
If the specified depth
/ max_crawl_pages
is higher than the number of results/pages in the response, the difference will be refunded to your account balance automatically.
What else you can do
To help you decrease your costs further, we can recommend to reconsider your check frequency and/or reduce depth
, e.g. from 100 to 50.
