We’re continuing to improve pricing data transparency across the Google Shopping API experience. Building on our earlier update about monthly pricing data, we’ve now extended support for this feature to the Google Shopping Products endpoint.
What’s new
You’ll now see a new field in the API response: price_multiplier
. It reflects the number of months that the listed price covers. For example, if a product displays a monthly price of $75 and the price_multiplier
is 10, that means the total product price is $750.
Why it matters
By including price_multiplier
, the Products endpoint now gives you clearer insights into the total cost of items. This update allows you to analyze seller pricing tactics more effectively and ensures a more accurate comparison between listings.
