Quick overview
This skill tells you which keywords people are searching for most inside AI assistants — so you can prioritise GEO and AI visibility work by actual demand instead of treating every topic as equally important.
Give it a keyword list and it pulls AI Search Volume for each term via DataForSEO API, adds the monthly history, and sorts the whole thing from highest demand to lowest. What comes back is a clean opportunity list showing where AI search activity is concentrated and which topics deserve attention first.
Who it’s built for
For SEOs, GEO teams, content strategists and agencies trying to understand demand beyond traditional Google search volume. It’s especially useful when you already have a keyword or topic list and need to decide what to prioritize for AI visibility, compare conventional SEO demand with AI demand, or work out which subjects are actually being searched for inside AI assistants rather than assuming the same priorities apply everywhere..
What you get
- AI search demand for every keyword. DataForSEO’s AI Search Volume estimate shows how often each term is searched inside AI assistants and LLMs.
- The biggest opportunities first. The entire list is sorted by AI Search Volume, highest first, so the output is already prioritised.
- Monthly AI searches history. Each month’s volume is broken out into its own column, making it easy to see whether demand is growing, falling or holding steady.
- A clean CSV ready for analysis. One keyword per row, numeric values left usable for sorting, filtering, comparison or import into another workflow.
- A short summary alongside it. Keyword count, the highest-volume opportunities and the month range are surfaced in chat without cluttering the data file.
What you need to get started
- A DataForSEO account and your API credentials.
- Claude Code, with the DataForSEO MCP connection added and authenticated once.
- The AI Keyword Search Volume Analyzer skill installed.
- The keywords you want analyzed (pasted directly or supplied in a .txt, .csv, .xlsx or accessible Google Sheet).
Workflow breakdown
- You give the skill your keyword list, market and language.
- It cleans the input, removes blanks and exact duplicates, then splits large lists into batches of up to 1,000 keywords.
- Each batch is sent to DataForSEO’s AI Keyword Search Volume endpoint to retrieve the overall AI Search Volume and its monthly history.
- A deterministic script extracts only the useful fields, pivots the monthly history into columns and sorts every keyword by AI Search Volume from highest to lowest.
- Keywords with no reported volume are kept at the bottom with blank values rather than guessed or discarded.
- You get a clean CSV showing which topics carry the most AI-search demand, plus a short summary of the strongest opportunities and the period covered.
