We’re glad to introduce a new feature in our Business Listings Search API: the first_seen field!
This new parameter indicates the date a business was first added to our database. You can now sort business entities by this field, such as ["first_seen,desc"] to easily identify the most recently added listings.
Whether you’re scouting new competitors or looking for new customers with emerging businesses, this feature will streamline your efforts. You can also use it to gain insights into market trends by analyzing when businesses in a particular category or location first appeared.
Note that for businesses already existing in our database, the first_seen parameter reflects the time of the last update. While this provides a useful reference, the date might not reflect the exact time we originally added the business.
