Google has discontinued Events as a separate search tab. As a result, we are retiring Google Events in the DataForSEO SERP API.
What’s changed
As of September 15, 2026 Google Events has become deprecated as a separate search engine type in SERP API.
This change follows Google’s removal of the dedicated Events search experience, which means Events can no longer be reliably accessed and collected as a standalone search surface.
What this means for you
If your integration currently relies on Google Events endpoints, we recommend removing this dependency and updating your workflow accordingly.
