We’ve updated the depth settings in the Google Local Finder SERP API to reflect recent changes to Google Places results.
What’s new
Google Places now returns up to 10 results per page on desktop, down from 20. In line with this change, the supported depth settings in the Google Local Finder SERP API have been updated:
- default
depth: 10 - maximum
depth: 350
The default number of results is now the same across desktop and mobile.
Please note that Google Local Finder SERP API pricing is based on a charge per each search results page containing up to 10 results.
Why it matters
If your workflow depends on the desktop results returned by the Google Local Finder SERP API, you may need to adjust the requested depth accordingly.
