We’ve added a new layer of control to the Competitors Domain endpoint in DataForSEO Labs API. With this update, you can easily filter out unwanted or irrelevant sites and focus on the insights that truly matter.
What’s new
You can now use the exclude_domains parameter to exclude specific domains from the response returned in the Competitors Domain endpoint.
This endpoint provides a comprehensive overview of ranking and traffic data of your competition from organic and paid search. It also surfaces detailed metrics for the keywords that both competitor domains and yours rank for within the same SERP.
How it works
The exclude_domains field lets you specify up to 1,000 domain names you wish to exclude from the results.
Example:
"exclude_domains": [ "reddit.com", "youtube.com" ]
What you need to do
If you’d like to refine your competitor research, simply add the exclude_domains array in your API requests.
