What’s new
We’ve added a new parameter expand_citations to the ChatGPT LLM Scraper API. When set to true, the API response will return HTML data from the expanded citation bar, giving you access to richer source details.
Please note that this new parameter works for HTML endpoints only: Live HTML or Task POST + Task GET HTML. Also, the expand_citations parameter requires force_web_search to be enabled as well.
Why it matters
Expanded citation data allows you to dig deeper into referenced sources, surface contextual details, and derive more reliable insights from scraped results.
