Shopping recommendations in Google AI Mode SERP API come with valuable product details, and now you can capture more of them. Two new fields now provide descriptive product text and Markdown content, complementing existing shopping data such as prices, ratings, and seller information.
What’s new
The ai_overview_shopping object in now includes two additional fields:
text– contains descriptive text explaining product highlights and recommendations.markdown– provides the Markdown representation of the shopping element, including product details.
Here’s an example element structure with these new fields.
