We’re delighted to announce an update to the Categories for Domain endpoint in DataForSEO Labs API that brings more flexibility to your domain analysis.
Now you can set subdomains as a target in addition to domains when utilizing the Categories for Domain endpoint. This means you can retrieve data for subdomains separately from main domains, and gain more granular insights.
To start using this new feature, simply specify your subdomain as a target when setting tasks to the Categories for Domain endpoint. No additional steps are required on your end.
Pease note that the subdomain should be specified without https:// and www.
With this update, you can uncover the categories associated with your subdomains’ keywords, and obtain the targets’ ranking and traffic data for the keywords within each category.
