What is the difference between the Advanced SERP Database and the Unified Search Database?

If you look at the response of the Google SERP Advanced database and then compare it to the response of the Google Unified Search database (formerly known as Google Full Database) you will notice that they provide identical data. The same is true for the Bing databases.

Both the Advanced and the Unified Search databases return keyword and SERP data with the same amount of extra SERP features.

So what is the difference between the two?

In a nutshell, the Unified Search database contains more keywords. The matter is, we don’t collect SERPs for all the keywords that we add to our databases. Some of the keywords are collected without SERPs so you won’t find such keywords in the Advanced SERP databases. If you purchase the Unified Search database, however, you will receive all the keywords that we have collected, including those without SERPs.

The following example will make things more clear.

The Keywords Database (location: US) currently contains 889.5M keywords.

SERP Regular / SERP Advanced databases offer 153.8M keywords with SERPs.

And the Unified Search database (US) contains 889.5M keywords, 153.8M of which come with SERP data.

Note that we regularly update our databases so the number of keywords and SERPs we offer is constantly changing.
