Business Listings API

Business Listings API delivers point-of-interest records from a Google Maps-derived database: you can search for businesses by keyword, category, and location, or aggregate businesses by category. One returned item represents one business record in Search, or one business category in Categories Aggregation.

The API works in Live mode only: results are returned within the same request, typically within 2 seconds. Billing combines a fixed task fee with a per-item fee, and one response can contain up to 1,000 items.

FAQ

Questions about Business Listings API

How is the Business Listings price calculated?

Each Live request costs $0.012, plus $0.00036 for each returned item. The two endpoints — Search and Categories Aggregation — are priced identically.

How much does a task returning 1,000 items cost?

A full 1,000-item response costs $0.012 + (1,000 × $0.00036) = $0.372.

Why does 1 million items cost $372?

One response is limited to 1,000 items, so 1M items require 1,000 API requests: 1,000 × $0.012 + 1,000,000 × $0.00036 = $372.

What counts as one item?

In the Search endpoint, one item is one business record. In Categories Aggregation, one item is one business category record.
