Google Maps SERP API

Google Maps SERP API delivers local search results from Google Maps: the top listings for any keyword and location, including business names, ratings, review counts, prices, addresses, phone numbers, websites, and geographic coordinates. Results arrive parsed and ready to use, and one request returns up to 100 listings. Note that results reflect Google Maps’ “search this area” behaviour, which is how location-specific search works in Maps. Choose between three execution modes (Standard queue, Priority queue, and Live), depending on how quickly you need the data.

FAQ

Questions about Google Maps SERP API

How much does Google Maps SERP API cost?

The price depends on the execution mode. One SERP — a results page with up to 100 listings — costs $0.0006 in the Standard queue, $0.0012 in the Priority queue, and $0.002 in Live mode. That is $0.60, $1.20, and $2.00 per 1,000 SERPs respectively. The location, language, and device you request do not affect the price.

What is the billing unit for Google Maps SERP API?

You are billed per SERP, where one SERP contains up to 100 results. This is different from organic search, where a SERP contains 10 results — with Maps, a single request already covers the full top-100 local results for your query.

How is the total cost of a task calculated?

Start from the base price of your chosen mode, then apply the multipliers: the base price is multiplied by the number of SERPs requested via depth (rounded up to the next hundred), by 5 if the keyword contains a search operator, and by 2 if pixel rankings are enabled. Example: a Standard queue task with depth 150 — 150 rounds up to 200 results = 2 SERPs — costs 2 × $0.0006 = $0.0012. The same task with pixel rankings enabled would cost 2 × $0.0006 × 2 = $0.0024. When several paid parameters are combined, their multipliers stack.

What happens if I request more results than Google returns?

If the specified depth is higher than the number of results actually available, the difference is automatically refunded to your account balance. You never pay for pages you don’t receive.

Which mode should I choose — Standard, Priority, or Live?

It’s a trade-off between speed and price. Live mode returns real-time results within ~6 seconds on average and suits interactive applications. The Priority queue delivers results in about a minute at 60% of the Live price. The Standard queue is the most economical, averaging ~5 minutes with a target turnaround of 45 minutes — well suited to batch and scheduled jobs. The choice is made per task, and you can mix modes freely.

Do any other parameters affect the price?

No. Apart from the parameters in the table above, all other request settings — keyword, location, language, device, operating system, and the choice between structured data and raw HTML results — are included in the base price. Retrieving the results of a queued task is also free; you only pay when the task is set.
