Google Play API

Google Play API delivers app data from the Google Play store: app information, search results, top charts and category lists, user reviews, and app listings from the Google Play search feed. Standard and Priority queues are available, and billing units differ by endpoint: Info is billed per result, Reviews per block of 150 reviews, Searches per 30-item SERP, and List per 100-item SERP. Google Play Listings is a Live endpoint that combines a fixed task fee with a per-item fee.

FAQ

Questions about Google Play API

How much does Google Play API cost?

Info costs $0.0006 per result in the Standard queue and $0.0012 in the Priority queue. Reviews cost $0.00075 per 150 reviews ($0.0015 in Priority). Searches cost $0.0012 per 30-item SERP ($0.0024 in Priority). List costs $0.0012 per 100-item SERP ($0.0024 in Priority). Listings is Live and costs $0.10 per task plus $0.001 per returned item.

Why do Reviews prices look much lower per million than Info prices?

Because the billing units differ. Reviews are billed in blocks of 150 reviews, so $0.00075 per block works out to just $5 per 1M reviews in the Standard queue, while Info is billed per individual result at $600 per 1M results.

How are Search and List requests billed?

Google Play Searches use a 30-item SERP billing unit. Google Play List uses a 100-item SERP billing unit. Priority queue doubles the Standard queue rate for these endpoint families.

How is the Live Listings price calculated?

Each Listings request costs $0.10 plus $0.001 for every item returned. A request returning 500 items costs $0.10 + (500 × $0.001) = $0.60. One response can contain up to 1,000 items (100 by default), so 1M items require about 1,000 requests: 1,000 × $0.10 + 1,000,000 × $0.001 = $1,100.

Which mode is fastest?

Listings is a Live endpoint with an average turnaround of up to 2 seconds. The queue-based endpoints list up to 1 minute in the Priority queue and up to 45 minutes in the Standard queue.
